Employee performance appraisal is an important process in organizational management, including the public sector. Goal-setting increasingly popular method The purpose of this research to describe goal-setting strategy increasing employee motivation sector organizations. This was conducted through a literature study that collected and analyzed results previous on impact motivation, factors influence it, along with strategies for determining appraisal. indicate has positive negative motivation. Factors appraisals work include goal certainty, commitment, social support, self-efficacy, job satisfaction. In addition, there are several can be implemented by organizations effective appraisals. performance. provide recommendations practitioners managers develop more management policies practices.
